On 10/11/07 I had the procedure done on my eyes. I was able to see right after the procedure but needed to rest a bit. After about 3 hours later waking from a nap I could see really Awesome! 20/20 at least!. The checkup the next day was 20/20 or better. You will see night light halos for a little while while your eyes heal. Mine weren’t so bad but night driving was more challenging the first night. It was better 3 days later for me. It’s great waking up and seeing everything crystal clear! The surgery was pretty painless for me just a little itching that went away. You have to wear goggles the first 3 days while you sleep and sunglasses in direct sunlight while you heal. The actual all laser procedure was two steps. the first intralase where they laser the flap and the 2nd was the actual lasik eye correction. The day prior to surgery I had my eyes mapped with the Wavefront CustomVue device. This video is only of the lasik part of the procedure. In the next couple of days I will have a full article on my website explaining the entire process I went through. From the initial research to my procedure in full detail. IPL-Laser Treatment for Dry Eye is reducing or eliminating irritation, foreign body sensation, light sensitivity and pain for many patients. Dry eye after LASIK surgery has also been successfully treated with this painless, 5 minute outpatient procedure. Although Health Insurance Companies do not cover this laser treatment, its costs are low considering the expensive of Restatis™, Punctal Plugs, Collagen Plugs, and time off from work. Leo describes how laser treatment for dry eye changed his life.

PART 1 OF 2 – The long awaited video. I had trouble uploading so here it is. Finally! I had intralase eye surgery which is performed blade-less compared to lasik surgery. The recovery time on this type of surgery is 1 day while lasik’s recovery time is 8 days. This particular type of surgery is frequently used for astronauts and pilots. After my procedure I saw very blurry and experienced a lot of tearing and was very sensitive to the light. All I had to do is close my eyes for 3 hours the same day and when I awoke, everything cleared up and I saw 20/20. Has to be one of the best things I’ve done aside to many others. I did my surgery at bogotalaser.com It is located at Bogota Colombia. This place is very upscale with all the latest technology. Highly recommendable. I paid $1350 US dollars. I saved myself a lot of money compared to the prices here in the US To find out more about intralase please visit: www.abbottmedicaloptics.com DONT FORGET TO WATCH PART 2!!
drrupalshahlasik.com presents ReLEx with a 3 mm incision. The first real alternative to LASIK in 2 decades, it provides the advantages of PRK without the pain of PRK. A lenticule is carved within the cornea using the VisuMax femtosecond laser. It is then extracted through a tiny incision. The VisuMax provides several advantages over the Intralase and Femto-LDV lasers in this respect.
