has anyone ever had lasik eye surgey and how did it turn out ?

my dad got it done and he can see gr8 now but still needs reading glasses
i meant surgery not surgey sorry:(
he had it done about 2 months ago and yeah he couldnt see crap without his glasses lol

I had mine done in 2000 and have had no problems yet. I had 20/600 and 20/800 with bad astigmatism.

Even with LASIK due to the natural aging of the eyes you could still need glasses. How long ago did he have the surgery?

Did he go to a place that does free enhancements?

How bad was his eyesight?

Are you thinking of getting it done, or did you just ask because of your dad?

If you get it done, check out http://www.tlcvision.com they have done TONS of LASIK procedures and have the free enhancements for life. Remember that cheaper is not always better, especially with your EYES.

    WONDERFUL.

Had it done several years back. Also, many of my friends
have, we ALL have had great results.

Works pretty good. Try to go to someone who does it a lot. Nothing is perfect.

I think your father (and my mother, as well) waited until they needed bifocals to get the surgery done, which is why they still need reading glasses. If you get it done before then, I think you could possibly avoid that. I have only ever heard one person have a negative experience with it, but that was years ago and the technology is advanced so much. My mother couldn’t see a Coke machine at 5 feet and now she is all but glasses free.
