Also, it permits a more rapid healing. After surgery, it takes around one week to be able to do everything you want to, as the eye will take some time to readjust a bit, especially to daylight, although you'll be able to see clearly after a good night's rest following the surgery. Full recovery takes around 2 months, that's when the flap fully heals. Don't be scared, just take a vallium one hour before the surgery to calm down ;-) Intralase takes 20 seconds for both eyes and doesn’t hurt. Also, it permits a more rapid healing.

Although there is some discomfort during the intralase part since they flatten your corneal lense in order to cut it. But like I said, its totally painles and i could see 20/20 without any haziness or anything the day after surgery. Definitely worth it! had it done last week, totally painless.
